Financial Advice Clinics.
Helping barristers thrive professionally and financially.
Financial uncertainty is one of the leading causes of stress, even among high-earning professionals.
Our Financial Advice Clinics offer barristers access to expert, independent financial advice tailored to the unique challenges of self-employment. By helping members gain clarity and confidence in their financial lives, we support both wellbeing and long-term professional performance.

We offer trusted advice and education to help barristers make smarter decisions about their money. This can be anything from managing fluctuating income and tax planning, to investments, pensions and protection.
How It Works.

Quarterly
On-Site Clinics
A dedicated financial adviser will visit your chambers on a quarterly basis to hold confidential, one-to-one meetings with members. All we require is access to a private room.

Free 30-Minute Consultation
Each barrister is entitled to a free 30‑minute consultation to explore their personal finances, address specific concerns, and clarify their financial goals. Whether preparing for retirement, planning for tax liabilities, or simply seeking clarity, this initial meeting offers practical guidance with no obligation.

Ongoing Services
Where more in-depth planning is required, we offer optional ongoing services, subject to a fee. These services are tailored to the individual and can cover a wide range of financial planning needs.

Ongoing Services.
Investment & Pension Advice
We help barristers make informed investment decisions and plan for retirement, even in the absence of employer-provided schemes.
Tax Planning
We offer practical, tailored advice to help manage irregular income and make the most of tax allowances and reliefs. This is particularly relevant for self-employed professionals.
Protection Planning
We advise on key areas of financial protection such as income protection, life cover, and critical illness insurance. This is vital for those without access to corporate benefits.
